PennDOT and Franconia Township held a Public Open House on October 24 at the West Broad Street Elementary School to describe plans for the Cowpath-West Broad-Godshall Road intersection. It was reported that construction will begin in late 2012 or early 2013 and most of the work will be done during 2013. Township Manager Kevin Baver said that the project will cost approximately $4 million, with 80 percent coming from federal funds and 20 percent from the the state. He said funding for the project is in place through 2013. |
