Utilities and Services

Trash Collection and Recycling
The Association currently has a contract with J. P. Mascaro & Sons, Inc., and that firm is the sole collector of trash and recyclables for the Lions Gate community. Both are collected once per week on Fridays. Trash containers can be obtained by calling Mascaro at 215-256-1900. Recyclable containers can be obtained at the Township Building.

Snow Removal
Consequently, the Association must make arrangements for this work. For snow removal, the Association has a contract with an outside firm. It specifies that they are to remove snow from all driveways, courtyards, and streets within our community. In general, the contractor is authorized to begin removal when the depth is 3 inches and the snow is forecast to continue. Each resident is responsible for the removal of snow from their own sidewalk.
